Vice President, O'Connor's

Kevin, the VP of Operations at O'Connor's

management, underpinned by an Operations Management degree from Seneca Polytechnic. Renowned for his expertise in logistics and transportation management, Kevin excels in

budget management, customer service, inventory control, and enhancing operational processes. His

ensuring operational excellence. With a blend of academic insight and practical experience, Kevin

Robbie O'Connor

Vice President, O'Connor's 

Robbie, the Vice President at O'Connor's

Transportation, part of Go Smooth Transport since

1996, offers over 27 years of transportation

industry expertise from Mississauga, Ontario. He manages a variety of administrative services,

including accounting, customer service, and web

design, alongside overseeing warehousing

operations, sales, and inventory systems. His

diverse experience extends to serving in the

Canadian Forces and roles at Rutherford Bingo, reflecting his adaptability and focus on customer

service. A Brampton Centennial Secondary School graduate, Robbie is known for his operational

excellence and deep industry insight.

Jordan Silvera

Director of Sales

Jordan, the Director of Sales at GS Group, is

renowned for his expertise in sales strategy and

team leadership within the logistics and

transportation industry. His experience spans roles

from Sales Executive at Traffix to dual Business

Development Manager at Mill Creek Motor Freight

and ICON Transportation Logistics, showcasing his

skills in client acquisition and market expansion.

With earlier positions at Cardinal Couriers and

Purolator, Jordan has proven his versatility and effectiveness account management and strategic initiatives. His contributions include managing key accounts and crafting competitive sales proposals, establishing him as a pivotal figure in driving

Pat Patenaude

Terminal Manager

Since July 2021, Pat has excelled as the

dual-Terminal Manager at GS Group, leveraging

over a decade of expertise from his time as Fleet Manager at PNE Corporation. Specializing in fleet, transportation, and logistics management, Pat is

adept in customer service, inventory management,

and enhancing customer satisfaction. His skills

extend to team building and negotiation, with his

current role focusing on operations management

and pricing strategies. Pat's combination of practical experience and strategic management

demonstrates his proficiency in navigating complex logistics challenges while maintaining superior

customer satisfaction and operational effectiveness.

Safety and Compliance Manager

Clayton Adkins

With over 26 years in the Transportation industry,

Clayton has transitioned from diverse driving roles to managerial positions, culminating as a Safety Compliance Manager at GS Group. His experience spans dispatching, sales, and administrative tasks,

with specialized driving skills in tankers, flatbeds,

and waste haulers. Recent roles emphasize safety

and compliance, leveraging skills in communication

and regulatory adherence. Educationally backed by

the Ontario Safety League, Clayton is proficient in

safety and compliance, including Fleet Driver Trainer

and Airbrake Instructor certifications. Clayton

 encapsulates a dedicated leader committed to enhancing industry safety standards.

Matthew Wos-Lavoie

Dispatch Manager

Driven by a passion for business, Matt has carved

a niche in logistics and transportation, currently

leading as the Dispatch Manager at GS Group

since July 2019. His journey in this field began at Transpro Freight Systems, enhancing his skills in dispatch, storage, and shipment efficiency. As a

Logistics Coordinator at Freeman Herbs, Matt

managed internal and external shipments,

maintaining compliance and efficiency. His

expertise extends to customer service, where he excelled in sales and support as a B2B Customer Service Representative. Specializing in areas like

social media marketing and email marketing, Matt

is dedicated to continuous improvement and

making a significant impact in the logistics sector.

Dom Carusi

Fleet Manager

Dom, the current Fleet Manager at GS Group in

Mississauga since October 2023, brings over 30

years of expertise in fleet management. With a

27-year tenure at Transpro Freight Systems in

Milton, and over a decade at Consumers Glass

evolving from Foreman to Shift Manager, his

career reflects a profound dedication to

operational excellence in logistics. This rich

experience is supported by an education from

Humber College (1983-1985), marking Dom as a seasoned leader in fleet operations.

Holly Pierre

Corporate Controller

Since January 2024, Holly has served as the

Controller at GS Group, showcasing a

comprehensive finance and accounting background from diverse roles. Her experience spans from Finance Manager at Taylor Tool to Senior Administrator at

BDO Canada, dealing with bankruptcy and

receivership, and Staff Accountant at The Court

Group of Companies. Early positions at Ghesquiere Plant Farms Ltd. as Controller and foundational

roles at CIBC and Scotiabank have honed her skills, reflecting her extensive growth and adaptability in

the finance industry.
